On team commissioned by chair of mathematics to organize national conference of faculty, higher education administrators, federal funding agencies, private foundations and graduate students to explore strategies to increase student diversity in graduate programs in mathematics; co-edited conference proceedings, "Promoting Diversity at the Graduate Level in Mathematics," funded and distributed nationally by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI).

Provided in‐country training and follow‐up support to expand course design to integrate visual media, oral histories and community engagement. Effort resulted in three documentaries which were conceived, filmed, directed and produced by faculty/student teams. The documentaries were shown before an audience of university, community and policymakers and laid the groundwork for greater communication with external stakeholders, as well as future private/public/ community partnerships.
